As above it was an excellent run meet, and typical of the way Paul dose his thing! One of the best guys in powerlifting for sure!

Good to see so many have a good time and nice to catch up with BDFPA guys and gals I hadn't seen in a while.

Off course the best thing on both days was the breakfast bun Tongue

Well done to the lifters, referees, officials, spotters, helpers and spectators.I enjoyed the energy created by everyone over the weekend. We realise we have to improve further on many fronts but things are coming together with practice. Some people travelled a long way to lift or watch and we are grateful to everyone who was involved with the All England over the weekend.
Results are up on our club web site www.bournemouthbarbell.co.uk under competitions.
Kings Park was really packed out particularly on the second day with many spectators having to watch through the windows from outside. So many lifters left a lasting impression on their talent, determination and sportsmanship.
We are grateful for all your encouraging remarks above and look forward to seeing you all soon. Our next home match is Bournemouth University verses St Marys University College on November 28th .Both teams will have over 20 lifters in there line up.All five lifts taking place. Weightlifting and Powerlifting with the lifters choosing which lifts to enter. Some will do them all.
Kindest Regards,
Paul

Sorry about that Phil.Nick tipped me off that day two results were not up.Alistair is getting it sorted now l believe.Scroll down and across under competitions.
Well done on your performance and winning a very big class.Your British record deadlift was a treat to watch.Josh was great value and Carl applied himself particularly well.A good result for Andover.

Thanks Paul.
Alistair Cannings has been the driving force setting up the Web Site with help from a friend. We are all very grateful to him.
Lifting in our area is also benifiting from the continued hardwork and enthusiasm of Paul Hooker and the young talented lifters you have at the Purbeck Club.
We are currently setting up a program called"broad reach" through which we intend bringing more people into the sport with training sessions at Kings Park,Oakmead College,Bournemouth University and our new venture using the Conditioning Centre in Newtown ,Pakstone in POOLE.
Anyone involved with GBPF,BWLA AND BDFPA or any NGB AFFILIATED TO UK SPORT is welcome to join our Community Amateur Sports Club.Availability and commitment to be drug tested is also required.
Regards,
Paul
