Got to compromise somewhere, which is what it looks like you are doing in your above post Joni. well what aout more reps and speed work from platform and heavy / speed rack pull from different heights, and only deadlift every 3 to 4 weeks but i would still keep the squats going. | ||

Deadlift 5x70 5x70 5x110 3x150 2x190 1x210 2x215 pulled my back in the second rep on 215 - bo***cks bench press 8x60 8x80 8x100 8x105 8x107.5 First week of something along the lines of Joe The Terribles Terrible Bench Press Routine standing strict press canīt remember, not heavy Thursday 6th, Uppsala, Sweden Fantastic gym, oly lifters, strongmen, powerlifters... But back was f**ked, so had to just do some disco stuff incline bench press 8x60 8x80 8x90 narrow grip bench 8x50 3x8x90 5 sets of 'ceps! I trust i am 100% with my back come monday. note to self: take it easy with deadlifts. | ||

Taking the night train to south of sweden tonight... aye, need to be careful with the back. Its not long ago when i used to miss months of training due to my dicky back, its the damn deadlifts! I was thinking if i just pull back a bit and work with lighter weights and nail some rack pulls to keep the heavy touch going. Anyways, deadlift priority is not shaking from one incident! currently thinking if i could cut 5kg of bodyweight in 8ish weeks and still be strong in pressing... | ||

Thats helpful for sure. f**k i hate conditioning Steady state cardio is good though for fat loss - especially because it shouldnt really impact on your other sessions and doesnt really "compete". Ok, back in manchester, back in action: ADLINGTON nice little session. Adders new breed were on fire today, rob pulling strong, mr 'fro squatting strong, dr love pulling strong, boar looking good... power clean & jerk 3x50 4x50 4x50 3x60 2x70 1x80 1x90 1x90 1x90 felt nice, and whats most important, back felt solid. bench press 8x60 8x80 8x100 8x105 8x110 10x100 there would have been wee bit more in there but back started hurting on the 110s. will now do two weeks of 5s, two of 3s, two of 2s and one single before going for current max (hoping to match the old one but paused - fantasyland goal?) front squats 5x70 3x115 1x135 1x140 1x140 love the fronties at the moment! | ||
