Member 735, 1193 posts SQ 220, BP 135, DL 235 590.0 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq	EQ British Natural strongman contest 2010 Saturday 28th August 2010 Paradise Wildlife Park White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, Herts, EN10 7QA http://www.pwpark.com/ The park has around 5,000 people attend every Saturday and will have amazing facilitates for spectators and competitors. The event will be advertise nationally and may be televised. Weight classes U105kg and O105kg (capped at ten per class) Winner and random drug testing Events are Axle deadlift 200kg and 250kg respectively Overhead press medley going up to 120kg log press Tyre flip (300kg and 400kg respectively) Farmers walk titan tank 200kg and 250kg respectively Truck pull – 20 and 25 metres respectively Rules manual, entry forms are available on the eq nutrition website www.mm5.co.uk under the news section. already had entry forms in for this so anyone interested get get in quick.

Member 735, 1193 posts SQ 220, BP 135, DL 235 590.0 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq	should be a great event for both the competitors and the families as theres tons to do in the park on the day with a massive play area both indoors and outdoors right next to the arena as well as the animal park, loads of food outlets inside and the competitors will get there own massive room to relax in between events and stay out of the sun etc in addition we will have stalls and commercial sponsors there with there prmotional stuff such as ricoh and samsung (who we are trying to get to supply an eletronic scoreboard throughout the day) all competitors will get a free t-shirt and there will be prizes for winners etc

Member 735, 1193 posts SQ 220, BP 135, DL 235 590.0 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq	we learn't alot from last yer and the two classes makes it easier to have more appropriate weights - last year we didnt know if we would get the competitors so was trying to appeal to too many if you enjoyed last year i can promise this year will be a blast as we have such a great venue and we are currenlty in talks with a few Tv channels about advertising and coverage

Member 735, 1193 posts SQ 220, BP 135, DL 235 590.0 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq	there is ten per class the rules manual which explains scoring is explained is available on the mm5.co.uk website we will however be more organised in terms of this info being available to competitors though it going straight onto an excel spreadsheet with formulas etc in so points ect are done automatically and hopefully this will mean things will be quicker and more efficient

Flight into Luton (I think) - train to cheshunt, hotel, then train back into London and the night bus home cost me about £200 including comp entry and food etc. Not too bad a price to pay to enter into a national comp. Scott
