Ste has recently moved over to Sumo style deadlifting and was doing some of the same Friday. Good warm up, nice technique, all was going well.... I turns round and Ste is over the bar, in the last thro's of preparation to begin his lift. The rest of the lads were watching and shouting encouragement, but no-one had the same vantage point as me nor the same view... "Ste, sort your legs out mate, you've got one in and one out!!!" You see in the excitement of the moment, young Ste had positioned himself with one leg for the conventional deadlift and one for Sumo.... Once corrected, The Turnermator executed what was probably his best deadlifts ever which was commented on by Alan  The set was a good one indeed, amid the congratulations from the lads Ste let out a mighty "Yaaaar!!" in fine Pirate styley, to underline his satisfaction!!!! Good man Ste!!!! | ||
