Big fish in a small pond Member 1150, 2101 posts | Mine never actually leave lol, but i have never really ripped them off while training only when i was messing around in a climbing wall. I have found a hot bath will soften them then i guess you could rub them down?

Member 601, 3067 posts SQ 222.5, BP 177.5, DL 272.5672.5 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq | rip off any flap or loose skin around it and leave it mate. dont cover it up or put any s**t on it. tape it up as best you can while you train so you dont make it worse. they dont take long to heal up.

Not sure if you do this previous to comp, but i always used to file my hands down of any rough/dead skin with a millinicut file(rough wood file) or a sharp craft blade. Always worked for me pre-comp pal , not really answering the current question, but prevention is always a good thing! Hope this helps sort off?

9x WSM finalist! Member 662, 3372 posts | If anyone tells you to use new skin you should punch them! Was suggested to me and hurt like hell. Just cut the loose skin off and leave them! They will dry up pretty quick and give it a week-9days and you are good to go.
