just a little concern iv got...

when i started my job (its quite physical, considering i should be behind a desk!) every so often after deads or squats the day after id get very sharp pains in my lower back either side of my spine right at the top of my arse crack... they wernt regular so i dismissed them as a big session...

its only when i put weight on one leg then id get a stabbing pain that literally takes my breathe away it only used to happen for a step or so and go...

now im getting them more and more and lasting longer :/ i have just finished a big stdl routine could this be the cause? iv never had lower back pains before like this so just want to get an opinion just incase its something bad....

Not really sure what it is but maybe get a massage of Jo at the gym, she should be able to tell if anythings out of place

Sounds like it could be the sacroilliac joint mate.

Look up stretches for it on youtube and it should ease it off.

Also, get some deep tissue massage on the glute and lower back. The glute will most likely be tight

i think robbo will be good as this happened to me when i went from a physically job to a office job, so what i would do is to see about your SI joint and S1 and L5 as bad posture and constant sitting does not help these area's.
if i were you start doing very light good mornings and stretch the hips and glutes off.

just my 10 pence worth
