I am hereby tendering my resignation from SB meet on 13th (to be done via vid!). Got a coupls of niggles that I want to husband before my nxt meet 2 weeks after (4 Nov). Not the time to put on knee wraps and do a supra-max squat!

Wasn't in reference to you mate, I think Jonny was probably referring to Rick who has decided to train the night before because the meet "doesn't fit in with his training". Must be that hectic competition build up Confused

Right updated the competitor list and changed Jeff's squat to snatch because I read that's what he'll be doing somewhere.

Hayden, Davo - are we going to see some comittment or what? A nice bodyweight minus 5 bench from Hayden maybe and a nice 240 pull Davo?

You could at least go for a 4 rep max or something?

ok just did a paused "close grip" axle bench with 115kg (its just inside shoulder so it could be considered a narrow bench)

also did a clean and press with 85kg on the axle Eek Angry

Well, my Friday workout involves 13 sets of speed bench, which I certainly don't intend to clog the meet up with. As to deadlifting, after a double PB, a triple PB, and a failed milestone single in the last three weeks, I need a light week before nailing 500. I intend to pull a few light singles, which is not going to be entertaining for anybody, and certainly not enough so to then end up squatting two days later. I'll be there, hopefully not too late (I have to work that morning), and will cheer on those who *are* doing something entertaining.
