Today was f**king ace! First day back at the Palace and there was plenty of good energy kicking about.


Deads:
3x5/140 Had millions of velocity in my first two sets!

Speed Deads:
3x3/90

Bench:
6x3/50 Obscene velocity that I've never had before. My arch was also really good today.

Speed bent over rows:
3x5/70 Good velocity here too.


All in all a great session. I rocketed through the session and ate at Smackdonalds afterwards. Big mac, 2 cheeseburgers, drink and fries. Beautiful.

I got that swine flu jab and am feeling a little funky, maybe almost psychedelic.

I went squatting anyway.

Squats:
3x5/110kg

Speed squats:
3x3/70kg

Bench:
2x5/85kg
1x5/87.5kg

Static bench:

Low position 10 sec hold @ 60kg

Middle position 10 sec hold @ 65kg

Top position 10 sec hold @ 90kg

FIN.

Was goosed this morning and not looking forward to training.

Deadlifts:
3x5/145kg (I really felt it in the glutes and sacrum today. I was stiff as f**k)
The last 2 reps of the last set felt horrible and I'm sure they looked horrible too.

Speed Deadlift:
3x3/70kg


Speed bench:
7x3/55kg


Light dumbell shoulderpress (seated):
2x5/20kg bells
1x5/25kg bells


Speed barbell rows:
4x5/60kg


Shrugs:
3x4/120kg


All in all a long session considering I was still tired from squats on Thursday.
Gonna do the same weight on deads next week but improve speed and form if I can.

Cheers Allen. It IS the macky ds that's making me stronger!
Even though my squat numbers are the same as before I took ill, the depth is completely arse to ankles now so there fortunately is improvement.

I look forward to the 145x5 on deads with better speed next week. Enjoy your training this week.I sense that bigger deadlifts are on their way for you. The midicloreans have foretold!

Today was squat day.

Squats:
3x5/110kg

Again I'm at this weight. They felt nearly exactly the same as last week. My form was a tiny bit better in that I sat back slightly more, but I still am lifting with my back more than I would like to be. Depth is good, but I'm still getting that slight tilt of my pelvis at the bottom position and very slight rounding of the back where it goes from an arch to flat.

Pause squats 10 seconds:
2x3/80kg

Speed squats:
2x3/75kg


Coached:
70kg on bar.

Trained entry to the squat, hand position, bar position on back, walkouts, foot position and squat line.


Benchpress:
1x5/80kg
2x5/90kg

Bench is still going up which is nice to end the session after another poor performance on squats.

So this is my first day of assistance exercises. I normally only train 2 days a week, but because I'm coping with the pressure of training better now, I'm adding in the third and final day.

Squat Technique:
3x5/70kg

Felt better today. Bryans coaching is top notch as he analyses form very well. I still put my right foot too far forward when I take my stance and have to move it back a couple of inches, but my hips were much better today with my back keeping its arch quite well throughout the movement.

Stiff leg deadlifts: (for the stretch)
3x8/50kg

Barbell lunges technique:
3x5/70kg
Just getting the feel for these badboys again. Back knee was turning in too much. I must improve that.

Barbell seated shoulder press:
1x8/40kg
2x8/50kg

One arm dumbell rows:
3x6/35kg

Tricep kickbacks:
1x15/8kg
Kept it nice and light

Concentration Curls: (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
1x10/12.5kg dumbell
1x6/17.5kg dumbell
I worked my biceps for a year when I was about 16, I got up to 8 strict reps with a 20kg bell back then lol.

Neck bridges:
1x10/BW
1x10/BW+20kg
1x10/BW
Was much stronger at these when I wrestled. Used to do sets of 30 or 40+ with ease.

Decline crunches:
2x25 Holding at the peak of the crunch and exhaling.

I'm pretty tired after that session to tell the truth even though it was pansy exercises. I've eaten well though so it'll hopefully help.

(Next week I'm determined that the 4 reps will be 6 reps)

(Great velocity today. Felt very powerful)

1x35 (thirty five)/60kg

I'm looking forward to Tuesday Squats already.

Tuesday squats.

Whilst warming up 100kg felt heavier on the bar than it normally did. Bryan agreed.

Squats (Ultra, super, mega, hyper depth)
2x5/110kg
1x5/112.5kg

Front Squats:
1x8/70kg
1x5/80kg

Whilst not strong, my form on front squats is sexual enough to bring many a lifter to the brink of orgasm. I love doing these. They're a brutal core exercise.

f**k YO plateau hahahaha!!!! I'm 2 1/2 kilos stronger than you now.

Bench:
2x5/92.5kg
1x4/92.5kg

The last rep of my last set, I went off line. I'm so f**king pissed at myself for that! I touched the bar too high and pushed like a bum bandit mother f**ker. I'm so angry at myself for that.


Bent over rows:
3x6/90kg
Sexy as f**k.

LOL thanks man. I do my best. Who knows, if I ever get strong enough to do a real comp some day and you happen to be there, I'll maybe warm up with some fronties, just to get the crowd going haha.
