i shy away from hard work Member 549, 2761 posts SQ 250, BP 132.5, DL 282.5665.0 kgs @ 120kgs UnEq | a pretty boring and rubbish session tonight. as id had a bit of coaching on my oly lifting technique the other day i decided to have a light technique session, im fairly confident that i slipped back into my bad lifting habits tho! POWER SNATCH bar x loads 40k x 3 x 3 im not sure why i did power snatches rather than full snatches, i think laziness! im working on the double knee bend, and concentrating on the 3 pulls, i have a habit of just pulling the bar straight up which tends to make the bar drift to far away from the body which isnt efficient, plus it makes it hard to get under the bar without diving forward. i tend to have the same problem with the clean, ive got fast elbows and i good rack position, i just need to work on the 3 pulls. CLEAN AND JERK 40k 3 sets of 2 60k 3 singles 70k 2 singles 75k x 1 80k x 1 82.5 x 1 (press out) i also need to work on my split jerks. i tend not to push myself low enough so end up pressing out i blame my arms, im sure they are too long! | ||

SQUATS bar x 10 60k x 5 80k x 5 100k x 3 120k x 2 130k x 3,3,3 pretty disappointed with these, i did 5 triples with this weight last time, just didnt have it in me tonight BENCH bar x 10 40k x 5 50k x 5 60k x 5 70k x 5,5,5 i didnt want to go too heavy on these as i was on my own, hate having to lift out myself as i end up losing my position. thats it, pretty boring session | ||

DEADLIFTS bar x 10 60k x 5 100k x 5 140k x 3 160k x 1 nice and light, felt a bit lazy for not going heavier or going for reps STRICT PRESS bar x 10 40k x 5 55k 5,5,5 my presses were a bit messy and slow, need to concentrate more! | ||

More like a slow quarter squat. Think above exploding through the floor and throwing that weight through the roof. | ||

SQUATS bar x 10 60k x 5 90k x 5 120k x 2 130k x 3,3,3 100k x 10 worked on sitting back into the squat and making sure i pushed my knees out etc BENCH bar x 10 40k x 5 50k x 5 60k x 5 70k x 5 fairly good, need to concentrate on keeping my position tight and getting each rep into the same position each time. | ||

DEADLIFTS bar x 10 60k x 5 100k x 5 140k x 1 170k x 3 170k x 1 not quite sure what the extra single at the end was for.... STRICT PRESS bar x 10 55k x 5,5,5 nothing much to add, my backs feeling loads better, also presses are good fun | ||
