OK. Had a word with the main man. For those who dont know Alan, he gives very little away, and always wants a lift of his choice thrown into the bargain.
October 13th is on. Alan will be there so club records will count.

The downside is that you have to do 2 lifts AND a continental clean (get the bar to your chest using any technique you like). Not my rules. Straight from the top. Take it or leave it.

just noticed i havent committed to any lifts yet, so i will commit to:

well i was thinkg because i start the 9 week cycle on monday ( after a discussion with my training partner) i would leave gym lifts out and do three stronman events.

i have 6 that i would like to improve medley (keg, keg chain, sandbag), yoke, farmers over 30 meters, log press, 100 kg stone for reps, and tyre flip

so i'll leave it to the commity or judges what three you want to see as i want to improve the lot

Cant see a problem with that mate. Use it to give your training some focus. I think log for max would be good, 100kg stone for reps too. These have easy measuring parameters.
