What about Louis Cyr?

Louis Cyr was awesome when I saw him. I missed Saxon because the sheep needed shearing that week and I couldn't go. Still kick myself that I missed him - but my fellow villagers stayed warm all winter because of my sacrifice.

riku kiri. Great strongman, and powerlifter. Nailed mad bench presses just wearing a t-shirt. Heres a vid of the 302.5kg bench. I think he nailed more than that as well?

Yeah nice vids.

and Joni you're spot on about Kiri, awesomely strong. Had completely forgotten about him.

Two I didnt mention earlier but would be in my top 10 favs are Svend Karlsen and Raymond Bergmanis. Having watched them year after year after year perform to the highest of standards plus make it look fun and entertaining I have a lot of admiration for both of them. Karlsen has won champs at bb'ing, powerlifting and WSM, plus having owned mutliple world records has to go down as one of the best ever and Bergmanis was an awesome oly lifter before turning to strongman. Its characters like these that made strongman the sport it is today.

Well done WIGERs. What you doing up at this time? Excited much?

I believe Taylor did a push jerk behind neck of over well over 600lbs though, although it was from racks
