Thanks lads just trying to perfect the right combination for packing out my nether regions! I'm currently undecided between 2 pairs of rugby socks or half a pound of sausage meat or both!

had a week off training after the comp ,was supposed to be resting but due to unforseen
employee problems ended up working every day since with no time to train ( or eat properly for that matter ) was going to do my first session today but after 1 set of box squats with 60k which nearly kiled me I decided to wait till wednesday for my first session and eat a few thousand extrs calories in the time between.
have been told by the physio to rest my shoulder for 4 weeks which means no deadlifting or benching which in a way is good as it means I can concentrate on my main weakness
which is leg strength I might try a few really strict close grip benches as well if it does'nt hurt the shoulder !

for the next 4 weeks training will be

monday
back squats 5x5
good mornings 3x10
weighted sit uos 3x10

wednesday
close grip bench (shoulder permitting)5x5
dumbell curls (they're not gay Tbench)3x10
skull crushers 3x10

friday front squats 5x5
speed squats /box squats 5x2

after the 4 week period of resting my shoulder I think I will swap toa 4day training schedule:

monday squats ,good mornings situps

wednesday
bench press ,lying dumbell press ,bent over row

friday deadlift ,front squat

saturday, close grip bench military press and some dynamic effort bench

I will also be making more of an effort to eat properly as I have gone from 14 stone 3
on the day of the competition to 13 stone 7 last night,I am going to try and eat at least 200 g of protein a day and a minimum of 4500 calories.

any thoughts or advice on the above training routines would be welcome!

I'm not that lean Rob its just that I have the skinniest legs on the planet top half is decently equipped with small but perfectly formed power belly ,and saggy moobs!

wednesday1/8/07

good to be back training took it pretty easy to ease myself back in!

close grip bench 70k 5/5/5

hammer dumbell curls 20k 10/10/10

dumbell skull crushers 10k 10/10/10

bought myself some creatine today so will be starting that on thursday and will be expecting all my lifts to magically increase without me having to put in any effort!

shoulder didnt feel to bad with the close grips just twinged slightly at lock out dont know whether to carry on with them or just give it a total rest and do skull crushers instead which dont bother it at all!
friday I'm going to yardley gobion powerlifting club to train with some proper power lifters and get them to sort out my s**t squat!
