great effort today mate. I know you werent happy with your performance but given the conditions I think you more than held your own against some of the best in the country. dont be too hard on yourself!!!

was total s**t today did not get going felt like i was going to faint in 4 of the events

i could b**ch moan and make excuses but the fact is i had a very bad day i was never expecting to be pushing loz and dave

but i was a long way from what i am capable of

viking press total s**t

deadlift total s**t

fingers only thing i am happy with but still s**t(iceman did 4 i would of rather died than failed that f**ker!)

yoke and frame total s**t

stones absoluteley wanking s**t bollox

my first reaction is to retire will sleep on it

if anybody says i was anything other than s**t they are big lying f**kers don't believe them!

one s**t performance does'nt make a s**t performer. often how you feel about your performance is relative to your level of expectation ,a decent performance that falls below expectation feels like a s**t one and a poor performance that exceeds expectation feels like a great one.You may find after a few days of contemplation
it might not feel so s**t!

Having said that if you do retire I'll take all your kit off your hands for a knock down price!Grin

We can't always perform to the best of our abilities, jt. I couldn't press a 110 log yesterday!! It's a great sport to be involved in. Don't put so much pressure on yourself, and learn to enjoy it - even when it isn't going so well!

You have bene out of the game for ages - and that was a heavy comp to return to. Strength is there, so its good that you did a comp first which was not high in the priority list to shake out the cobwebs.

indoor session today due to weather

arm over arm sled pull 12m then drag sled 12m

did this 3 times gradually getting some technique sorted rope brand new ( from buzz absolute bargain)so still got lots of stretch in it

trainer log 1 motions all reps cleaned

90kgx8

100.5kg x10

125kg zercher 17m 175kg duck walk 17m

did this a couple of times lets just say not my favourite type of event!
