Was supposed to do 5 sets of 6@80kg but the last rep of the 4th set was a grinder, so I left it. Satisfied with that tho. Chins felt pretty good. (86.7) | ||

Squats went pretty well today. There was no real danger of not making the reps. Deadlift, on the other hand, was rather harder. They felt heavy, and because it was still warm in the gym, my grip was a bit iffy. On the final rep of the last 2 sets my grip was on the verge of slipping. Anyway, I made the reps. (86.9) | ||

Lots of reps on bench, as this block i'm going to focus on hitting close grip heavier and standard bench reppier. Pull ups felt quite good today. (86.6) | ||

It felt hard from the word go, and in the end, rather than grind out the last 3 reps of the final set, I just re-racked it. Deadlift was ok, surprisingly. With deadlifting in the same session as squatting, I find it actually helps to do some squatting first. Too much squatting usually has a negative effect on deads. Yesterday was too much! | ||
