For my family, we see this issue for what it is: an emergency vaccine with no long term data. Mainly, my wife and some of her friends are/ were immunology specialist involved in creating cutting edge cancer studies / treatment. The up shoot is that none of them agree that the vaccines are as safe as the government advisers are telling us general public, mainly due to the lack of understanding of the possible long-term effects - such as fertility as an example. However, they are all of the same mind, that is, if you are at high risk just take the vax asthe risk (unknown long-term effects) is weighted in favour of the drugs. In contrast, the opinion of my learned friends/ family is that if you are healthy...: Be the ones in the control group  This doesnt mean that i wouldnt consider having it in the future when there is more data available and my risk of serious illness changes... But I am not buying into the vax myself and my kids to protect others. Im not so easily shamed into obedience and compliance. Of course, there are those who would now trash all human rights. Ironically, pre-covid I would have labeled them as 'liberal and forward thinkers' That is before the government entranced the nation. Ive always been pro chpoice...take the drugs, cover your face, it your choice. My issue is the virtue signalling and retarded behaviour of people when my family refuse utter compliants. WILLSAN said: we simply do not know if there are any long term side effects of these vaccines. and this is compounded by the fact that these particular vaccines work through completely different mechanisms to those we have commonly used in the past making any comparison of long term safety between them useless. all assurances of long term safety are based on supposition. in addition to this, once the initial trials were completed, all the participants who received the placebo were then offered the real thing which destroys any hope of monitoring the control group in the long term. the only way we will ever be able to monitor any long term effects is to study differences in outcomes for those who choose not to be vaccinated and those who do. thank you for flagging this. I will look at it more closely when I get a bit of time to go through it properly. | ||

And, they all said that there more people there than the weapons of mass destruction protests which reportedly had close to a million people there... I think we are beyond the point of discussion on such points. Most now just accept what the main stream media says and shows as fact. There is a media blackout and a censorship across social media. If that doesnt worry the masses (I dont think it does) we are in (and i hasten to say this because i do not like conspiracy and i dont want to believe whats really happening) a new order already. there are also plenty of videos on youtube showing police walloping the unarmed public with trunchons so 8 coppers injured...meh. | ||

If it was a really bad pandemic we wouldn't need to reminded by social media, the tele and idiots driving around with masks If the media stopped talking about covid months ago, we wouldn't think anything of it My wife's grandfather was buried today. H had a full life and was as good of a funeral as one could hope to attend. It was nice to shake some hands and be normal again. If anyone is courteous enough to offer me their hand? I hug my family, why wouldnt I? The at high risk ones have been jabbed. Besides, we now have herd immunity (if you include all the people who have been jabbed and had covid that is). I honestly think people are enjoying the rules and being told when to jump. i cant explain why healthy people wear masks in the street and will not hug their vaxed relatives. On Saturday I donned my mask for the pie shop and left it on until the chip shop, rather than remove and replace it.
