Thought this might get some more action in this sadly dying forum.

I bought myself a rice cooker with a steamer function. It's not tuna season just yet, so i was thinking of putting in rice and adding some chicken in there to the tune of 40/150 protein/carbs per serving, and whatever the fat comes to with olive oil.

Any other suggestions for bulk cooking? Can I place boneless chicken thighs in the steamer bit above the rice? If not, i'll cut the chicken into small pieces according to the amount of rice to make up the above macros.

I keep meaning to try this, but haven't yet. Sliced ginger and lap cheong is my likely first attempt.

Tell you what man, I do the best version of poor man's Jamaican rice and peas. Or worstt

Can of cocontt cream.
Can of kidney beans.
cup of basmati
1 cup of water
Spring onion (smash it lengthways), cut it thrice, thrice
Cheap jerk seasoning (2 tablespoons)
All spice seasoning, 2 teaspoons
sprinkle of sumt else I forgot
Mish it all up and and put it on tovether

I am STEAMING drunk btw.
Notnsure if recipe is correxf

Just use ours for rice tbh

Got one of those tom yam grills though from Tesco Lotus and they’re awesome for grilling and boiling meats + veg
