Critical opinion seems to be "better than the first mess, not as good as the second, and nearly as good as the previous". That would be a shame, because Order of the Phoenix is definitely the best book, what with the Nazism/Stalinism allegories and stuff. But if nothing really happens in it and it feels like a filler episode, I hate to think what they'll make of Half-blood Prince. | ||

I thought Order of the Phoenix was a brilliant book in its own right. | ||
