As the title says - just done my worst gym session ever mostly due to the heat.

The gym i train at is in an industrial unit and has an aluminium roof therefore making like a sweatbox in this heat.

Just wondering if this heat is effecting anyone elses training or am i just having an off day?

i train in a rough and ready gym and if its 20degrees outside its 40 inside.

Yesterday was savage, first exercise i was strong, second average, third diabolical.

Like nathan said, train hard, heavy and also as fast as poss and get the f**k out!

Tonight i planned on repping at 160-170kg on deadlifts so did a few light warm up sets then 140kg felt more like 180kg. Bummer.

Dont think 5 hours sleep last night will have helped much though...

It makes me feel a bit less like training, but when I start it doesn't make much difference. Sligtly fewer warm-ups though which is a plus

Too right. Stank like f**k in there tonight too, although in fairness me being there probably didn't help matters. I'm hopeless in this heat doing day to day s**te, but I don't mind training in it strangely enough. Except for cardio, which doesn't happen too often for me anyway.

Catts was a f**king sweatbox last night, but is an ideal excuse to keep reps low IMO

1-3 reps, the heat should not be a huge factor if well hydrated.

Meehhhh.. train 2pm in Nam without air con. That's f**king hot!

Off course I soon became sensible and trained at 7-8pm when it was only the 30 degrees C Happy
