Member 4923, 1795 posts | Who do you think'll win the election? Will Trump leave peacefully if he loses? Will the debates be any good? I believe Trump is currently lagging in the polls (deja vu), but I think he'll get re-elected. Biden comes across as quite clownish (or maybe thats the Russian propoganda that has infiltrated my youtube video feed  ), and though it might sound harsh, he'll be 78 soon and thats just too old to be President. Both have shown signs of mental decline. Seriously, can neither party do better than these two?! | ||

 Trump will get another four years Member 126, 16707 posts SQ 160, BP 110, DL 225495.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | trump has the election in the bag - the riots have have put the final nail in the always doomed biden campaign. biden's mental decline is so severe it is not out of the realms of possibility that he doesnt make the finishing line. democrats know they have lost already so are planning to try an rig it through mail in ballots. they are currently setting the scene with the narrative that 'trump wont leave the WH' because they know he will win on election night and they will refuse to concede with the claim that mail in ballots will swing it their way. mainstream media and big tech will side with the democrats and attempt to censor trumps lines of communication to the public. democrats aim will be to create chaos and cast as much doubt in the election result as possible. they will begin legal proceedings over election results in every battleground state whether they can win or not. their proxys will organise massive riots across the country. they will claim that there is a 'constitutional crisis' due to manufactured issues with mail in ballots. we are watching the beginnings of a modern day civil war in the current world hedgemon. russia likely to back trump. china to back the democrats. | ||

It feels like US is on the verge of a total civil breakdown. People crashing into groups of other people everyday isn’t reported as terrorism. Protesters becoming armed militia. Teens shooting each other. Cops maiming non violent protesters deliberately on camera and being supported by 50% of the population. Cops supporting far right groups. Social Media becoming a “safe space” run by crazy liberals. Army enforcement of curfew. It’s like everyone at every level of society has become polarised into extreme positions by Trump and social media. | ||

Member 4923, 1795 posts | I'm looking forward to the debate tomorrow and hope that Trump can get in a few zingers against Sleepy Joe. Although Trump's taxes will probably be one of Joe's main weapons. The NY Times have come out recently to say that Trump didnt pay any tax at all in 10 of the last 15 years. I wasnt a fan of Trump at the beginning, but he's grown on me a lot, mostly for entertainment purposes. He's a pretty funny dude, and the world didnt come to an end when he became president. | ||

Firstly, Biden isn't a great candidate. He is too old and whilst I do not think that there is any malice in his actions, his handsy tendencies are a relic of a bygone age. He would have made a good candidate 10 years ago, but his face now looks like it's held in position by botox. Regardless, he is compared to Trump a saint. Words fail me when it comes to Trump. He is a truly awful human being. He does not have a single redeeming quality. His is a pathological lier, concerned only with how the presidency can serve him, as opposed to how he can serve the American people. He has exploited the religious right's inherent fear of liberalism, creating this hilarious situation where his voter base is diametrically opposed (or at least on paper) to everything he stands for. On the question of dementia, I believe Trump's mental decline dwarfs anything Biden is suffering. He was unable to say his own name in a speech the other day. Trump has diminished America, made it a laughing stock on the international stage. I almost feel nostalgia for Dubya these days. I sincerely hope that Biden wins. I don't see him serving a full term, and I welcome the relatively new blood that Kamala Harris would bring to the office. | ||

It gives an insight into why this is happening and basically lays the blame at the social media algorithms which mean as soon as someone shows an interest in certain things ie. conspiracy theories, they are bombarded with material which makes them more likely to interactive with similar minded people. It's pretty scary stuff, especially when the heads/former heads of companies like Facebook, Insta, Pinterest, won't allow their kids to have any social media due to how damaging it is for them mentally. | ||
