old age traveller Member 332, 7865 posts | Having had a couple of admin days I thought I might try a 1k today, I woke feeling a little ragged but hey lets rock. ERG 10mins 2195m 17 109 5mins 1207m 2.04.2 21 123 1000m 3.09.2 1.34.6 40 168 equals LPB 10mins 2086m 17 126 The screen stopped at 3.09.1 but the read out was 3.09.2 so just one more good pull would of been pb land. I am pretty elated I always knew this was one of my toughest pbs to crack. Just shows how good Boarpigs 3.08 is/was. Consolidates me in 4th place in the rankings behind the tall guys. Boy and I built a "cannon" at the weekend, today we have attached it to his go cart with a turntable to create a tank. Now we just need a horse to pull it!

Walk your talk Member 5, 25557 posts Administrator | 'admin' days rock !! Its a better performace, as you are now older and in a different catagory , but its a slight bummer that the monitor gave you a little tease ...still .... belting time ! I think now i fear the 1k more than the 2k. also, the lightweight record is probably safe when i turn 50 , probably.

Walk your talk Member 5, 25557 posts Administrator | oh and maybe my 3:08 is a better PB than 6:39 ? I now have a Lumix camera that you can have if you fancy videoing yourself - it just uses and SD card that you can pop into your computer.

old age traveller Member 332, 7865 posts | The thoughts of a sweaty rowing under crackers and do-wins only video..........fit for human consumption? I have a nice camera but have a sneaking suspicion I lost the charger when culling crap. ERG 30mins 7135m 2.06.1 18 125 30mins 7036m 2.07.9 18 127 15mins 3520m 2.07.8 17 127 Should of been 75m UT2 but the b's have to be considered at my age

All other options seem inadequate. However, I must admit, I do feel naked without my sweatband on. 3:08 and 6:39 are equally impressive.
