For the 800lb attempt the bar was loaded incorrectly, he almost dropped it when taking the weight. 2nd attempt was a long pause for the start command and a fail. He was close, but his left arm didn’t lock out.

Missing a 25kg plate out when loading is pretty bad.

Maddox injured himself on the 2nd lift, pulled out of 3rd attempt.

For me, this record would have been the most impressive out of the lot. It’s the lift with the greatest pool of people that have experience in it, and he’s still massively ahead of the curve. Pretty sure he’ll box this off in the future

Another question is... The misload made it to the platform... And was accepted to be 800lbs until the point it was lifted off... In theory, this means an actual intentional misload of a lighter weight could of potentially made it to the platform? Dun dun dunnnnn...

I find it laughable

WHAT A TOTAL JOKE

ABSOLUTELY PISSPOOR.

I have done lots of loading/spotting and reffing and know mistakes are possible BUT you have 3 refs 3 (at least)loaders and usually any mistake will be picked up before the lifter makes it onto the platform

You can bet your ass I would of checked and triple checked This weight!!!!!

That is what i find baffling...so many people around to check or notice. 90% of powerlifters have autism and none of them noticed.

I see a misload at every powerlifting competition. Yes the weights are higher here, but mistakes do happen. It's not like this was an official Giants Live 10,000+ crowd for Eddie Hall to deadlift 500 kilos

With the lifter actually taking the weight?

I disagree. I would hazard a guess at 90% being innumerate.

Squatting isn't doing my back any good.

I remember seeing Andy Bolton going for a squat (think it was 520 he wanted) and finding out once it was loaded onto his back that it was 560.
