The 140 was the main planned attempt and a WR. She got the 152 closer than we thought she would the commentary was just terrible and failed to get across what she was going for properly. | ||

The rules said it couldn't touch the platform until it was already loaded and was descending. If it was pinned in place and she effectively reset with the stone on b the platform the lift wouldn't have counted. | ||

I think they are revamping the rules going forward. I can see where they are coming from with this rule. It kind of restricts the lifter using the apparatus to aid them in lifting the stone. Who is revamping the rules? I totally understand why you and others think it shouldn't be allowed. I think I'm in agreement too. It always has been allowed up until this WR attempt, which seems harsh. | ||
