I agree with that but I mean he doesn't need to go into acting or anything else. It can be strongman or never working again. Both fine options!

According to Google, 1000-3000 dollars per video per week based on 1 million subs.

Along with the Brits of course

This will be ridiculous watching these two fight unless they lose some serious weight and get some serious coaching for a good period of time. Don’t get me wrong, I’d watch it though ha. Kind of makes more sense for Hall. Retired from strongman so it keeps him relevant and gives him a pay day. For Thor I honestly think he would accumulate more money from strongman wins and world records if he continued with it. I think he has the potential to be the strongest man ever and would like to see him establish that instead of amateur boxing. I’m sure he doesn’t care about my opinion though lol. Edit - and yeah, Luke Richardson is a freak. Would not surprise me in the slightest to see him pull 500kg

I eat a lot of meat Member 5124, 2996 posts SQ 245, BP 130, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | The whole BS build up has tarnished the whole lift, which is why I’m not really fussed over it. That in itself is such a silly statement, because someone has broken the deadlift world record and pulled over 500kg, but I’m just not hyped up about it all. The same for the fight... Real beef or WWE stage talk, I really don’t care. It’s going to be an awful fight regardless of what happens. I used to be a huge Ed fan since he broke into the scene, and was delighted for him when he pulled the impossible 500 and won WSM. I also used to be a fan of Thor, and his crazy strength and genes, but now I’m just not fussed. Ed has always been a f**ker, who talked the talk and walked the walk. His onscreen and performer personality was always a gimmick, and still now till this day he’s working it and earning off of it. I’ve met him a few times and he’s always been a class act though. With Ed, his gimmick is to always keep himself in the limelight, to work a crowd, to get a reaction, to build his own image, and he’s not scared to let the 100% truth get in the way of a good story. Thor on the other hand used to be this big Icelandic freak who would just go full regard and scream at the camera and interviews. He was mong strong and proud. At some point, he’s tried to change his persona and image to get away from that. Perhaps it was post WSM 17 when he was portrayed as the villain with his tantrums and guff. Perhaps it was the negative PR he got they made him try to change, or maybe it was just his superb acting career as the mountain that gave him a boost. Regardless, I can’t warm to him as a person and do find him a little fake onscreen. I think both are incredible athletes and strongmen, with superb achievements in their careers, but right now both are just a bit cheese.

Member 6297, 99 posts | AdamT said: Based on what? Not saying you're wrong, but is it because Ed acts hard? Boxing is a sport that I used to train in, but fought mostly in kicboxing Size and reach are massively important and also weight Street fighting doesn't always come into it I don't know what both guys creditionals are If you read Eds biography you will be led to believe that he would crush Mike Tyson, never mind Thor For now until I see proper training videos, I am picking the guy that looks the better of the two and it isn't Eddie Mate.. reading his biography you'd think it was Bruce Banner's biography, not Eddie's! I have trained in boxing and muay thai for years, far more than lifting, and while I very much respect their strength I really don't want to see another pawing fest in the ring that makes strength sports look stupid. Let's be fair.. everyone assumes that people like Thor are the Mountain in real life and they could destroy anyone, yet this isn't the case and as soon as they are put in a pro fighting situation that image is totally destroyed. You could put an old, retired Tim Sylvia against Thor now and he'd cripple him in minutes - it's just not a good idea. But there's money in it so they'll go for it, but Jesus how long can 400+lb men run around trying to box?
