The US, UK, EU etc. all secretly agree on creating a universal virtual currency that would undermine their own monetary policy, and... Ah f**k it, not worth the pixels.

danbaseley said:Will, your train of thought on this matter is difficult to follow.

Rather than solely focusing on the actual time line of events - or historical instances and facts which have occurred - you have, at points, dropped in opinions as facts, conspiracy as facts, and conjecture as fact.

For example, proposing - 4 years into Trump's leadership - that he is somehow the victim of some subterfuge on behalf of one of Hillary Clinton's "guys" is, at best, highly unlikely.

It also seems to ignore the bleeding obvious: and continues a strange narrative you propogate of Trump as somehow free, or at least greatly diminished, of criticism.

This dropping of, let's call them, truth bombs just muddies the water on this matter further.

I think some of the confusion may be coming from you having an idea about what I believe and then trying to supplant that on to what I am actually saying. in that last post I was using a hypothetical to illustrate a point. from my point of view our discussion wasnt even in the conspiracy realm. I was explaining statecraft, its role in this crisis and why the video you posted was fatally flawed by its ignorance of it. it applies to trump, xi, bojo, merkel or whoever - trump was merely the example I was using (because he was the subject of the video). the bulletpoint being - they are all lying to some extent to control their respective populations, arguably for good reason. and as I said before, I am NOT endorsing this approach. I believe that the general public would be able to prepare for a crisis such as this IF the information was delivered in a calm and considered way. im just a conspiritard though so what do I know? Grin

and trump being the victim of subterfuge? well thats a story for another time..

I wish they'd start using the right names for stuff.. Covid 19 is the disease and the virus is covid sars 2...sars 2 is what can turn into the disease. Perhaps just clever wording though

Speaking much more mundanely...

I'm finding that a lot of shop staff are not respecting 'social distancing' (e.g. not allowing you room to get past them).

Also, how many people's cars are not going to start after sitting unused for weeks?

My grocery shopping experience has been relatively safe and sane, but I'm deliberately going relatively late in order to make it so. My weekly shop is the only time my car's getting used now, so I'm taking a slightly extended route to the supermarket (20 minutes rather than 10) to let it get warm and charge a little.

mother in law said tescos are the worse.

moreover, why would any country rube for the love of all things holly go and que in in large sanctimonious supermarkets (dont get me started on their all in it together advertising campaigns)... when there are food stores such as B and M or coops who have no ques?

I wonder how purple Aki is coping with the lockdown?

Does anyone know if rods or Sasquatch are susceptible to Covid19 too?

hard to square that circle. only things I can come up with are that this thing is hard to shake off and just keeps coming back stronger and iran and china are just a lot further down the line than anywhere else.

https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/coronavirus-may-reactiv...

this is what I feared might be happening. hopefully this is due to errors in testing because the other thing is not good.

some collapse vids from indonesia:

indonesia used the 'pretend we have no cases because we didnt test' strategy.
