Struggling trying to fit the rowing in at the minute with doing weights and mountain biking on alternate days. I might have to start doubling-up on some days like you do...

I'm so, so weak at the moment just from lacking consistency in my training over the last few years. At least I'm being consistent now - hopefully the gains will follow.

Doubling up is great mate it’s just hard to not end up too burned out doing it. I also have the luxury of working in a gym too so it’s easier for me to double up. I’m like you I want to continue hammering the weights but also love the cardio now too and it’s fitting it all in!

Yeah fair point. I’m loving doing daily training, but need to consider I’m not 21 any more! I am enjoying the cardio and weights probably in equal measure at the moment.

It's just a 'plus' set where you rep out the last set. I guess it means the working weight was maybe too light to get that many reps on it.

good to see you getting out n about on the mountain bike Jon , i may use the cycle to work scheme and get myself one , a bit less of the road speed and more fun on the trails
