Strengthshop are well and truly rinsed out.
I've been through a whole bunch of others too.

I'm after just the basics/classics.

20kg 7ft bar
maybe up to a 200kg set or even 140kg would get me by for some time.

Any ideas anybody?

I don't even need squat stands (yet).
Just resigned myself to deadlifts, cleans, presses etc.

Strength shop are restocking pretty quickly and without the massive price hike many others are applying.

If you aren't having luck there maybe try extreme fitness but they may have sold out too.

Thanks big guy.

Strengthshop have "out of stock" on there stuff but maybe at least I'll try and contact them to see if they will reserve if I pay in advance.

I'll try extreme fitness too. There are simply too many "gym" websites about, most of whom will only stock a wobbly ezbar with hexagonal 2kg weights. Hard to even navigate to something worth looking at, let alone whether the company is legit or not.

but there is stuff on facebook marketplace and e-bay...but hiked to the hilt!

However, some people are still making atlas stones from home so type that in a local search and at least get some training ...Wink

I am training using paint tins and a cement mixer amongst other heavy objects..

That’s ridiculous.

Why are people flapping so bad about not having perfect training conditions?

Do circuit training, go for a run, enjoy doing f**k all. The world has gone mad.

yep.

and..Im convinced that the reason us oldies are so buggered is we did not stretch enough when we were younger so maybe use this as an opportunity to reset the clock...a little Wink

and if you want to do some training...there is always a way.
