I can tell you one thing that is not a conspiracy theory. There is NO WAY China is not attempting to stoke the hysteria right now. If Western countries continue to be shut down that means short term pain for China (less imports of their goods due to economic retraction) but long term serious gain (Western supply chains replaced by Chinese ones). The CCP philosophy is a MUCH MUCH bigger threat to our way of life than the virus. Please petition your local MP to have the shutdown and issues like this debated in Parliament. If we can stop “non essential” work we can stop “non essential” Chinese imports, for example. | ||

Spending time with my small children...I secretly hope this lasts months. (although I also hope that results in less death) I think I am coping better than most people I speak to because I have enacted a routine and structure to the daily live within our home. We chose total lockdown as a family. However, I have been doing maths with my 5 year old at 9 daily and my wife reads with him at 1. In between he does work sheets. We watch a film together mid afternoon to wind down before martial arts. I yoga stretch, H.I.T, weight train and martial arts on a time table. My 5 year old has taken an interest in weight training and has been doing dips, press ups and chin ups with me in the garage in the 4 day that I train. What I am saying is routine that builds to goals (fitter, flexible, education etc) is helping my family cope. The reason I say this is that I havent ruled out the possibility of martial law. So how you view lockdown may be a huge factor in wether or not you emerge in tack after this. This has helped keep me and all my family sane. Treading water is not living, you still need goals even in these situations. | ||
