20 minutes tonight a bit faster 2.11.5 pace

forgot how horrible the after dinner burp rows are.

After 3 years or so of no cardio other than work I am taking it steady

My Dad and Uncle had Heart attacks at similar ages to me now, they were in the same ward same week made visiting slightly easierCool

I know nothing about rowing, but I do know you've got the mental strength to really push your body (even if it's old) Happy

Good news amazon still deliver in 48hours so I now have a new chest strap

10 min erg warm up

4 min close to flat out 1109m 28spm 163AHR

That was awfully hard and slower pace than my 5000m pb set 6 years ago

10min warm down

Why don't all things get harder the older you get?

The interactive training programme I used in the past has disappeared off the internet, I will have to make it up myself.

If i can hit sub 7 as a lightweight, i will consider that just as good an achievement as 6:39 as a heavyweight , plus i am 8 years older

oh, and if you cant get a screenshot/image of your workout into your log , take a pic on your phone and send it me and i will do it.

Sub 7 as a lighty is pretty impressive If you have a look at the rankings more over 50's have done it this year than over 40's.

I had this crazy notion I could make it to lightweight..... then remembered last time I weighed 75kg was in 1989 (for boxing) water cutting and getting hit in the face things we do for fun!
