Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17816 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Wednesday 19th March, start 16:00 Another relatively quiet night. Hack squats, knee sleeves on 40 x 5 50 x 5 60 x 5 70 x 5 80 x 5 90 x 5 100 x 5 110 x 5 120 x 5 130 x 5 140 x 5 150 x 5 160 x 5 170 x 5 180 x 5 190 x 5 200 x 5 The top set was easier than last week, noticeably so, hip fine, everything fine. Of course the real test is yet to come. Next week it is the last Wednesday of the month so Physio day. I will probably deadlift for that one, but then again I may not. Whichever it is, things do seem to be looking up

As is my custom, tonight a glass will be charged, raised and I will drink to his memory, the toast will be - "Alan Fairclough, steel true, blade straight", I was honoured to know him

I thought it was funny on Wednesday when we mentioned Alan and his anniversary coming up, and Mack opined that he was glad Alan wasn't around at this particular moment in time as he would have had a bollocking off him for the way he'd snatched. This from a man who never met Alan, suggests we are keeping him memory (and reputation) alive and well in the club

No. I have made plans in the past and they never came to fruition. I am a lazy man, it is no coincidence that there isn't a bed in the gym There would only ever be one winner in that contest

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17816 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | The 30th of this month marks 40 years since I gave up smoking. The price of a packet of twenty Bensons back then was 63p and the budget put them to 67p. As a 30 a day man that would have put me at just over a pound per day. Camel break back straw as they almost never say. Interestingly I enquired the price of the same cigarettes on my last visit to tesco and they are £12.55, which is as near as dammit 63p EACH Who-ever would have thought that ?

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17816 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | The Hell that is working from home begins today. Enforced by the company I have had to bring monitors, keyboard, headset, mouse and several folders of design changes home last night. What you don't realize in an office environment but becomes very apparent in the small, cluttered hovel I call home is just how big this stuff is. Pete just lost his kitchen. This is going to be truly horrible

It also makes it easier to separate work from life. I'm putting a suit on (minus the tie) each morning and getting into sweats when I finish, for the same reason.

I shall stroke the beard, the suit is clearly out of the question but the principle is sound. maybe I would just wear a tie and take it off when done ?
