They tested positive and felt 'unwell' for 5 days and then made a full recovery with no medical intervention and have been clear for a week now. This person is in their fifties... Just saying.

Both my sister (who is pregnant) and missus work at hospitals with a&e departments and neither of them are particularly concerned. They are more worried about the behaviour of the public who are reportedly stealing infection control supplies whenever they get a chance.

I'm sure covid19 has the potential to be devastating and in the right conditions will be lethal to some. Like Influenza on Testosterona

However I do think some of the posts in this thread demonstrate the power of social media/internet hysteria. I am extremely critical and cynical about anything that comes through media channels these days, even the 'leaked' stuff.

I'll be that person to say I don't think the disease itself is as bad as most people are making out. What will kill people unnecessarily here will be issues caused by isolation in the elderly and people with mental health issues.

And if you're hoarding f**king toilet paper and soap and food etc then seriously, I have nothing but contempt for you. I'm afraid to say I'm sure my own parents have done the same, the sort of older selfish naivety that comes from believing everything you see on the news.

It's also demonstrated what an absolute f**king joke politics is and the role this plays in everything but that's an entirely different subject altogether
