got an oculus quest for the kids for christmas. its pretty crazy. I had heard talk of how revolutionary vr was becoming but I hadnt quite appreciated how far along things had progressed.

got a couple of games beat saber and pistol whip and they are a great low impact workout to the point where I think I will use it for extra cardio and mobility. as it develops I believe this tech will become a big part of the fitness industry.

eventually I can see it competing with or revolutionising movies, superseding traditional gaming and being used in all types of real world applications.

the scary part is wondering where this will have progressed to in the next 10 years. if people are addicted to phones now this really could take it to the next level.

anyone tried it or used it for cardio at all?

Ahh, Mr Boar, I shall add to the reading list. I expect I will be blown away, as I was a virgin to the story and loved the film, soundtrack and all.

The wig brings great reading knowledge

I'm sticking with good old fashioned train station fights thank you. I don't change with the times.

You'd be too scared to turn up anyway. All mouth, no action!

I don't have any games on PC/ phones/ tablet, and can't entertain the prospect of a gaming unit. Manic miner and Civ 4 took way too much of my younger life for my addictive personality to handle. A guy brought one of these VR units into work and let me have a go. Blew my mind and a half hour just disappeared in the virtual blink of an eye. Scary thing was all I was doing was navigating the menu. Must be murder for kids these days.
I signed up to Audible 11 months ago too. Racked up 40,230 minutes and 85 titles. It's an addiction I can live with though.
