Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22018 posts | I believe Laurence Shahlaei's PB is 170kg, so clearly harder than axle. I'm going to start doing them, out of the rack. | ||

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22018 posts | Any idea why they are harder? The rubbery surface of Fat Gripz is quite grippy. Is it due to rotation? I haven't used them much, just recently on chins really, but can't say I've particularly noticed them rotating. | ||

You'd think it would be easier than an axle, but it ain't!!!! I also did some weighted hangs with them. Both are harder than they should be. | ||

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22018 posts | 140kg is impressive! Having had a go, I think they elongate slightly and it becomes a bit like a pinch hold, which adds difficulty. Good theory? | ||

They probably deform toward a slight tear drop shape and that diminishes the ability to apply force in the same way an axle does. | ||
