Yes, I want to add some kgs to my bench record however being big (fat) 93kg and at wedding in Manc land the day before I might have to

go in the 105's to get that bench record which currently stands at 171kg (the present owner might also have plans which could lead to an interesting duel)

It was our divisional yesterday I was down to lift but after a knackering week I reffed and loaded instead

but got a cheeky 172.5kg bench in between.
Cool

Well done. You are competing very frequently!

How's the left shoulder? Has the cortisone worked its magic?

Good fun at the Horncastle charity comp today I just did shirt bench
200kg

212.5kg (comeback pb)

220kg agonisingly close to lock out

If this was a "proper comp" I would have taken 215kg for the whites.

Around £2k was raised for Parkinsons £80 of which came form a T-shirt Bish donated to be auctioned Happy

Did a bit of Bench in Lufbra as I was in the vicinity, struggled a bit with the non IPF kit

Europes strongest midget was hanging around (Don't tell that Dutch bloke)

so I did a bit of log ......things I had forgot

1. it pinches your flab under the belt buckle

2. it smashes the back of your wrists

3. it feels horrible at the shoulders stopping you breathing

4. it's great when you nail one!

Ah yes, I remember those things, especially the wrist one! I didn't wear a belt much in those days, but when I did try log with a belt on I found it got in the way on the clean. I probably messed up more log presses in comps than anything else!

Strong benching!

I've never been anything other than sober. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing.
