I've had tendonitis in my quad.

And biceps.

Sick and tired of doing exercises which hurt, but make you stronger....


Did Viking Press:

Machine x 10 x 2 sets
20kg x 10
40kg x 5 x 2 sets
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 3
120kg x 2
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
120kg x 9, just about to go for 10, and tore my right calf.

Unhappy

Rotator Cuff stuff.

If we did bodybuilding, buff and not in pain. I知 going to give this one more year. Got a comp in September. My injured wrist and the rest of me is going to qualify for Nats early for next season. If I go this year, I will be pushing the envelope. My farmers and yoke need much faster times. Down to weight now instead of 20 plus over. It will be my last shot at this and I will be ready.

Calf is painful, but no visible bruising - so probably level 1 tear.

I want to give the AMH Power program a decent crack, but my body is not up for it yet: as I have a shoulder impingement issue at the moment.

Between that and my calf, I have some work to do.

Cambered bar Squats - 90kg + 40kg of chain, 2 x 8 sets

Barbell Rows: 100kg x 5 x 3 Sets

Lat Pulldowns: 12 x 3 sets

Reverse Flyes

If your like me my injuries are more common on one side of my body. The left side. I知 a lefty too. Makes no sense. If it is one side, I値l bet you are walking funny like???

Did some upper body work and tried to avoid aggravating my shoulder.

After some trial and error, I found neutral grip DB bench press, with the dumbbells low down my body was OK.

5kg x 10
10kg x 10
15kg x 5
20kg x 5
25kg x 5
30kg x 5
35kg x 5

Weighted pull-ups: 20kg

Axle Rows: 75kg x 5 x 5

Lat Pull downs: 10 x 4 sets

Tricep Pressdowns: 10 x 3 sets

Neck Harness: Two rounds of 20kg flexion x 25, cable laterals x 25 per side

Single Calf Raises: 10 x 5 sets per side. Rehab on the pull.

Probably would make no difference but axle row. Rotate over and underhand grip every set? I will try this next row time. Just thinking out loud as I read this. What are your thoughts?

Physio says that my issue stems from a trapped nerve in my neck.

Fancy that?

He reckons it could all be a thing of the past, in a few weeks.

5 second paused SSB Box Squats - No hands:

100kg x 5 x 3 sets

Humbling. Really very humbling.

GHRs: 10 x 3 sets

Lat Pulldowns: 15 x 3 sets

Pullups: 5 x 3 sets

Lying Leg Curls: 10 x 3 sets.
