PeteHodgson | Time to replace my car? | 05-07-2019 @ 17:31

It's great, but needs some money spending on it now. Time to decide if it's time to replace with something newer. It's probably only worth £700 but needs cam belt and water pump. Service. Possibly aircon condenser(?) Also wouldn't mind a change if I'm honest, and have been wondering about Honda Civic (mark 8-2006-2011). Any car dudes have any thoughts on this?

I'm guessing a mark 7 would be upwards of 6 grand. Could get a decent civic for under 4. However...will probably just keep the golf going a few more years tbh. Cheers though Boar, ya crazy 1 wheeled hogman!

Don't ask why, I just don't like them.

This one is 165bhp too. Can always get a roof box if desperate
