Basically all the established top guys should hit top 3 on those events. It then just comes down to who is best at stones. Great news if your a Stoltman. Less good if you're Bish or Shahlaei.

Group 3 and 4 are both groups of death...group 2 is easiest.

Shiv will do well on all events, could win the group...but will most likely come second and get knocked out by Tom who is top 3 in the world at stones. Shiv gets screwed every year.

I was actually going to put that whatever group Novikov and Tom Stoltman get put in they are going to be a nightmare for the seeded strongmen.

Shaw should end his career as soon as posible. He has no chance of winning and there looks to be some serious health issue IMO. Just look at those lower legs.

Tan/shadow? He does seem to be working on the transition out of competing at the top level with his investments and YouTube. Just not sure if the appeal of his YouTube will be there if he’s not competitive so it’s a hard situation. I’d imagine if he can win a major competition he’ll hang up his belt after. I don’t see why he can’t, including WSM. He’s still a top 5 strongman and capable of beating anybody on the right day.

I don't think Shaw will win his group i think Novikov will...he will make the final because he is the best stone lifter.

If Thor comes top 3 in grip he will win. Going off his bell palsey and his face, his nerves are far better than a year ago, he doesn't have 'Popeye face' anymore. I think his grip won't be a weakness anymore.

I think you might be writing Shaw off a bit prematurely

He will do well in the final, good events for Shaw. Just Novikov is that good.

In the final Shaw could win grip, stones and should do well in squats, OH and loading. I just think he will end up with like 4th to 5th in OH and loading ..3rd in squats.

No, broo. Those are probably some blood circulation issues.

Farmers into yoke then into another yoke in the heat.

160kg farmers into 450kg yoke then a 595kg yoke.

I take it you have never seen Bish lift stones?

I think he was only beaten by the Stoltman brothers at Brits this year, and only by a few seconds.

He has always been a great stone lifter, and his conditioning should pay dividends in an event like this.

Mon’ the Bish

I've seen it. He's good but not awesome. Unless he can win the group he is likely in a stone off with Oberst. I love Bish, but he isn't the stone lifter Oberst is, nor is he as comfortable with the heat.

Hopefully is conditioning holds out, but its a long shot.
