Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17883 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | So my holiday has commenced with a twelve hour fast and the losing of some blood for some routine tests. On the plus side in a couple of hours from now I should be in the middle of a rather splendid breakfast. Hungry.

It's one of those things where I can fully acknowledge that this is indeed a bad thing, perhaps even a very bad thing but I just cannot bring my emotions to actually care about it very much at all. I heard the other day that there is some sort of public fundraiser to rebuild it and it has already reached 700 million. If Sir Paul McCartney's shed fell down would we have one for that - no. Because the cost of a shed to a multi-millionaire is buttons. Similarly the Catholic church is worth tens of billions and could fund the fixing of Notre Dame with the money it has in its wallet let alone its many accounts or its gold and treasures. The mythical man named Jesus was reputed to care about people, not about bits of coloured glass and fancy brickwork and bells. How odd that he should be represented by an establishment that does precisely the opposite. Shame he isn't real, a bit of smiting and smoting would not be amiss in my view.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17883 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | My Thursday visitor has been and gone, she was late, by arrangement, but I get to sleep in tomorrow. She had news as well, I am unaware if or how this will affect me, but there maybe be some decisions to be made. So we are in "wait and see" mode. Being on holiday I will have a Tuesday visitor (happy birthday to me) so the question is then, do I move Thursday to Saturday or do both Thursday and Saturday. Decisions, decisions. I'll be in touch

Personally irks me when people do that. Is suspending. Then I owe you an apology Billy, and I do apologize, I never meant to annoy. The reason I cannot say now is I do not know who will be available on those days. Tuesday is booked, that was done well in advance as I have always known when my birthday was. If there is someone suitable on Saturday then they may get booked and if there isn't they may not. The Saturday booking and whether or not it takes place will have an effect on Thursday, and Thursday, if it does or does not go ahead, is highly likely to have an effect on the following Saturday. Add into the mix the fact that I may very well be invited to r kid's for nosebag either this or next weekend and you will see that I am not stood of the firmest of foundations. I hope I am forgiven. Plus I have long held the view that very, very few people have the remotest interest of what I get up to. Despite one or two people whose opinions I value highly assuring me otherwise, I still find that very difficult to believe.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17883 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Friday, 19th April, start 15:30 Andy Foster is with us tonight which is always a pleasure so for a change, and so that I don't have to go into the other room and leave Mr. F on his own Barbell bent row 40 x 10 45 x 10 50 x 10 55 x 10 60 x 10 65 x 10 70 x 10 75 x 10 80 x 10 85 x 10 90 x 10 95 x 10 90 x 10 90 x 10 90 x 10 Fifteen sets in all, very strict but once again form would have started to suffer had I strayed into three digits. Tesco on the way home and then feet up for the remainder of the evening

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17883 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Monday, 22nd April, start 15:15 (easter Monday) Very hot and probably one of the two hardest sessions of the current plan (although time will tell that) and it's on a bank holiday, oh well, here we go. Bench, very raw, squat boots on 20 x 20 20 x 20 20 x 20 50 x 5 last one paused 60 x 5 last one paused 70 x 3 last one paused 80 x 2 last one paused 90 x 1 paused 100 x 5 last one paused 105 x 5 last one paused 110 x 5 last one paused 115 x 5 none paused Andy Foster was with us once again and he has a reputation for for gentle and golden centre passes on the bench. I made use of him on the last two sets, the penultimate set was fine but the last was a struggle, not only could I not pause the last rep but my arse was up on the last rep as well. Not the end of the world though and I can confirm that Andy's reputation for centre passes of the highest quality is entirely deserved. He's good. Tricep pushdown 50 x 10 55 x 10 60 x 10 65 x 10 70 x 10 75 x 10 I'll leave it at that for tonight, it is a bank holiday after all.
