 I eat a lot of meat Member 5124, 2996 posts SQ 245, BP 130, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | I’ve just seen a giants live video where Benni claims he’s going to lift 528kg... I assume at the deadlift championship. I like B, but has he been smoking the good stuff? Thoughts? | ||

End of an era. Member 4646, 1964 posts | He has lifted some big weights a fair few months out. I think i read the last 500 attempt he got injured in the run-up, but we will see. I think he will definitely get that 470ish deadlift...so will attempt 501. I hope Brian Shaw gets the 470ish and doesn't even attempt 501. | ||

He randomly had a go at 500 strapless in a PL competition years ago and did at least break it off the floor. | ||

People are not going to buy tickets based off of Benni's claims, where as people wanted to see Eddie pull 500. Benni has not really looked close to his best for years either, and despite some big strongman pulls, he doesn't look like he can do it. | ||
