I was viewing images inside the club. Looks like a good place to train. I was particularly looking at the pic of an old man doing overheads with chains that were channeled through a gutter-like device. Oh well Autodesk Invention time.

Its by far the best gym I've ever been in by a long long way.

Edit: In fact its a big part of why I stayed in London and is the reason I moved to Putney

No daily passes-
Some gyms here hit you over the head from the price of a daily pass. If I owned that gym, a week free pass is how I would drum up business.
Too pretty of a gym I guesss

The reason for that is so we don't get annoying reprobates in the gym. One of the most notable things about the gym is that the members are almost all good people who put weights back and stuff. People who come in from other gyms tend to not understand that.

There is actually a way around it so if you ever want to come down for a session I can get you in.

Cool stuff! If I ever come over there i would set the rack pins lower and do bounce shrugs and incline dumbell dejecting from the Press position arm extended. And run to people and asked them what are they looking at. Cool gutters on the rack though. Do they watch pets while I’m training? Rub downs?

However, it would be awesome to meet up for a hoist and a pint in a month, or so.

Back to the gym.

Decided to treat life in the gym as a build up to a competition - regardless of my immediate plans.

If the opportunity takes my fancy, I will drop in to a competition. If not, at least I am not simply spinning my wheels.

Knees have been playing up - because I have been lazy and not done my exercises!!!!

Warm up and rolling and stretching.

DOH Axle Deadlifts:

40kg x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 10 x 4 sets

Axle Press:

Bar x 10
30kg x 10
40kg x 10 x 4 sets

Back Extensions:

10 x 4 sets

Various Rotator Cuff stuff.
