Looking at getting a sandbag for training and conditioning work but I grudge paying £45+ for a shell cos I am a tight git (cheapest I've found are Mirafit on ebay).

Was thinking one of those canvas army duffle bags would possibly do the trick instead but worried if it's filled with 90-100kg sand it might start falling to bits.

Anyone else used similar with any success or any other suggestions?

You need something fit for purpose.

Strength Shop - Jordan Xtreme/Pro range - Bulldog Gear.
Cerberus - Ironmind - Rogue.

Invest in a decent one and invest in strength.

If you can't afford a decent one don't bother wasting the money.

I've rejoined my mates gym since posting this and thankfully he has the 2nd generation Cerberus bags so problem solved. Also ordered a duffle bag that I won't be filling now haha, probs just use it to take all my stuff on comp days instead
