My dentist told me to use a softer toothbrush and to floss every night, he was very insistent on the flossing. The man thinks it solves tho whole worlds ills.

I went to see the hygienist today for the first time in ages. She said my gums right at the back are very far recveeded. I couldnt help but thing that a) there's not an awful lot I can do about that and b) they're at the back so that are the teeth I'd most not mind if they fell out.

She was also a butcher, but my teeth are now very clean.

Do you use an electric toothbrush Jack?

I reckon losing the back teeth would be a nightmare, maybe not cosmetically, but certaining when it comes to chewing!

I do not. The lady kept telling me that I should do but I had a suspicion that she is told to say that by the company who makes electric toothbrushes.

I was told this and my suspicion was the same.

Mine have receded a bit but I just presumed it was trying to keep up with my hairline.

I bought an electric toothbrush about 18-months ago. I remember the first time I used it, it made my teeth feel cleaner than they'd ever felt! I'd heartily recommend getting one.

I bought mine when asda had a 1/2 price sale on them, which I think they do quite often.

7 and a half years later... I've still got all my teeth. The degree of recession below one tooth in particular looks quite severe though.

I've been using an electric toothbrush for the past few years.

I bought an electric toothbrush yesterday. I remember when I was a kid my mum getting one and it cost about £100 or something, so I always assumed they were expensive. The one I bought yesterday was £7. The heads are expensive though, a bit like razor blades.

I also bought those things that you use for brushing in between your teeth. And mouth wash too. Basically yesterday was a full day of dental hygiene.

I bought an electric water flosser after I heard BOAR and Ed sing their praises. My inspiration was that BOAR is probably the coolest person I know outside of the spy community, and Ed is a fat biker. Anyway I find it great for sorting tooth gaps after a meaty meal. If you swallow and don't spit there can be another good mouthful in there.
