Recovery from squats took longer than expected so should have chosen a lighter load live b learn. Worked up to 230 x1 which stalled at the knee but I locked it out still so knew I was in trouble with 240x2 got to my knees and that was that.even the speed work felt to heavy,so im knocking training on the head for a few days enjoy some holidays with the kids.hopefully look at working heavy triples from 75% maybe. | ||

I get recovery issues from deads as well, it's one of the reasons I tend not to push it with them. If I hit a hard deadlift session I won't be on top for for about 2 weeks. However, squats I can hit them hard everyday and it make not difference. | ||
