I'm talking to myself here Member 4644, 216 posts SQ 0, BP 70, DL 160230.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | Anyone competing at Bodypower this week (strongman, powerlifting...)? The line up of athletes on stands this year looks YouTube / social media-heavy even by Bodypower standards but I definitely plan to swing by SBD and meet Ray Williams. Dan Green and Klokov there as well this year apparently. | ||

Also way too many people in too small a space, ridiculous pricing for everthing. Too much worshipping going on (queuing for 2 hours to get a photo with someone who's famous for being naked on instagram). I just find the whole thing baffling. | ||

Giants said he was offered Sweden.. how true it is I dont know. I only did it as it was a world qualifier last year and i wanted to comoete against the best in u105 (im realistic im a long way off but i like to try). Wont be doing it this year as no point... £50 entry is rediculous and its doesnt count for owt this year. Much better off entering xplosive apes bloodstock comp. | ||

This is true... but I'll be pretty happy with a day watching powerlifting and strongman, a quick look around everything else, catch up with people, pick up a few bits and hopefully wait for about 15 minutes to meet Big Ray while everyone else is still four hours deep for the queue to join the queue to get a free bodybuilding.com shaker. Really disappointing to hear about last year's strongman winner though, I'd completely missed that. | ||

With the powerlifting being much bigger this time (2 platforms and 400 competitors over 3 days) I'm hoping that it provides a greater haven from the tanoged brosephs. | ||
