Sam Bollands who did the big video on FB slating him has openly said he didn't even know any of this happened until the day after. I don't have a dog either. I'm no Ray Williams fanboy. Ray himself wasn't particularly c**ty, but what he said about it not interfering with warmups was a load of s**t. There was no '25 minute break' basically there were 4 flights ran back to back all day with only a few minutes break whilst the platform was sorted for the next lift.His manager from SBD also rounded up all the decent Eleiko plates, dumping them next to the bench even though not all of them were used. Leaving all the assorted poverty bumpers and stuff for people to warm up on which totally wasn't on. I have it on good authority that rays a really nice bloke but personally his actions were somewhat selfish and he had no business been there in the first place. Can you imagine the commotion if an international lifter from a different fed started having a workout in the warmup area at an IPF nationals? There would be hell on! | ||
