It's always been a bit of a problem and if he's not training crush grip specifically, even correcting his farmer grip weakness would do nothing for him on an arm over arm. Good to see Felix proving a lot of the doubters wrong. | ||

His DB has looked good in training, he wont be winning the event, but should be able to do enough to get through to the stone off against Caron, which will likely be a close one. The trouble is he could well go into the stone off 3 or 4 pts ahead of Caron. A total that would be untouchable in standard conditions. If he were then to miss the final due to the absurd rule it would be a f**king travesty. | ||

 Member 5560, 769 posts | Its great how competitive all the groups are this year. Almost as if the sport stands up on it's own without any gimmicks to keep it interesting. All these groups would be going down to the wire anyway. Some of them, like group 1, would probably have gone into the stones with 4 guys fighting for second place. | ||

He's in 2nd, 1 point behind 1st with log lift for reps the next event - I can't see him not winning that (and he should definitely beat Oburst) which means he wins the group...
