Based on that training approach, we know he will hit 450. Maybe he could have in that video. The 440 should have been a double. His strength maturity is starting to show now. Would love him to join Pritchett, Shaw, Z. I leave hall out of this but anybody else in the 440+ strongman range, without a suit. Hollands. | ||

He has had a few 'peessing' injuries the last year with his shoulder and pec. One year injury free and a bulk for the main Arnold's and he is a danger man. I think he will do wonders towards the end of this year. I think he will deadlift 1000lbs this year. | ||

(I know they are wide people, but surely a hip width stance is better ?) For the deadlift - it comes down to mechanics but I believe it is more about long torso for benefit than just height. Konstantinovs was the perfect hip width hunch back lifter but his upper back was another level. Getting that width allows you to keep pulling further back whilst you are still in the seat, getting less lower and more leverage in to the initial lift off. I added 20kg to mine just by changing up wider, with a little less training innfact. | ||

End of an era. Member 4646, 1964 posts | Just as a comparison, Thor pulled 422kg last year before the Arnold's and this year he plans on pulling 455kg..both training lifts. Nice 33kg increase. | ||
