I been thinking while I let my tachograph rest.

I need to embrace Power Body Building and become a Greek God or an Adonis.

I currently look like Scott Cartwright in bodyshape.
(Nothing wrong with Scott and he a far better lifter than me, I respect all lifters of all shapes and sizes, I respect all strongmen and lifters.
The numbers they achieve and the accolades is remarkable, so big respect from me to all on here, what ever shape you are.)

I am looking at this from a health front :-
Plus I have a fat back, what is that all about ?
Plus I am a little round on the belly and nutritionally undisciplined.

I lift and enjoyed it but I am not disciplined on the food front.

I watched Mike O'Hearn take on Stan The White Rhino Efferding on squats and they both looked in good nick for their age.
And Stan can lift.

I need to go Mike O'Hearn style ?

Let's be honest it is better to be jacked and strong, than fat and strong ?
(I am just fat and and not that strong, so improvement all round is required with me)

So maybe I need to go down the Power Body Building route ?
Or should I have another biscuit and xxxx it !

Happy

Get the weight off before trying to get jacked. Circuit weight training, low cars and lots of walking will do the job.

Thank you.

I think it will be difficult for me, but I will try and increase some muscle and lose a little fat from the mid section, not easy.

Certain food must be a big NO for me.

I going to go from now until August 2017 on a drive to lose some weight and see what I can achieve and trim up a little.

Thank you for the tip on circuits.

No worries. It's a marathon rather than a sprint to get in shape.

If you have a decent gym to train in then this one was great for me back in my strongman days.

https://www.t-nation.com/training/lose-fat-stay-strong

Lots of variations and sets out sample wrkts simply.

Thank you so much.

I know it looks like I take the xxxx with some of the comments.
Trying looking like the Mike O' Hearn or Stan The White Rhino. (I wish)
That is just my sense of humour.
You are all a great bunch and I find the content on here very helpful with good tips and all of you are very supportive.

There is a serious note to what I need to achieve and my driving job does not
help, I just need to get more disciplined on the nutrition, cut out biscuits, choc's and cakes etc. (Sweet Tooth Joe)

I will go three month on a serious push and see what I can do on the weight loss and see if I can increase some muscle mass also.

I will post for some help on guidance on food on the Nutrition section on the weekend, when I return home, I need to give this some thought on what I need help with.

Thank you for tip on circuits and the link.

Thank you Slow Lift Joe.

You sound a bit like me, although I'm not a lorry driver etc, but my job is spent primarily sat down, which in turn makes me pretty inactive.

Nutrition is key, it really is, especially when ones activity levels are low.

Some people prefer a lower carb approach when in this situation, and I prefer that myself, but we are all unique. Calories are king though.

I also echo this. Perhaps instead of the traditional Sugden train station brawl, we could embrace a lorry lay by celebration instead?

A nice picnic, some light background music, and some chat about individuals heights, food choices and the truly majestic Sasquatch.
