Its hard work but it keeps the house going. Takes a toll on the body though. Even the young men get injuries from overuse.
Sounds like a scary tale from the kids. Hopefully the ghost has passed on now. A week off coming up in march. Going to the caravan at the coast. Will be amazing. Hope alls well billy.

Definite problem in my neck and couldn't sleep last night for the pain. This morning I was lucky enough to have a percussion massage from an irritable Mrs. who also got me breakfast. Stuck in my bed.
The pain runs up into my skull just below and just behind my ear.

Had a couple of suggestions on rolling from Louweasel that I'm gonna try out to see if it eases the pain any.

I had planned on woodworking today as I'd tuned all of my planes and chisels the other day to shaving sharp but this has put a dampener on that plan. So Avengers Civil War in bed is the order of the day.

I'm only just starting to encounter this overuse stuff.

I think it's to do with getting ready to cycle up to masters for my legit sports and my body telling me I might want to start warming up instead of jumping into it cold.

That's a very good call. My warmups are still relatively short also. Build up for two or three sets before getting into it. Maybe I should do more sets of higher reps.

My warm ups now have to include "activation drills" because the physio said my back was too jacked and when s**t hits the fan I just decide to use jacked back instead of technique.

I thought powerlifting at heart was all about monging your way to lockout...s**t wait that's crossfit haha.

Well you may have asthma but you have the fitness for it. Imagine having to hang out with crossfitters though. Yich....

Log of the day.

My neck hurts, I have to take time off work. Have too many things to do that require the use of my arm. Can't use my arm properly.

AS A RESULT OF SORE ARM
I miss drifting my car
I miss doing woodwork
I miss building things
I miss teaching kids climbing
I'm gonna miss training

Couldn't train today but trained the guys. They're really coming on technique wise. Squats and bench are looking lovely. Tech on overhead is getting there and both perform excellent smooth lift offs for bench. They're really tuned in to thee line of each others benches and know exactly when to spot.
Really impressed with their progress to be honest.

So I have a trapped nerve in my neck.
The guys badgered me into doing a squat.
