Robbo: I'm sure you're meant to put the buckle to the back when doing things like log.

Yeah you can do but that isnt as convenient as just putting it to the front.

also, i can be a nothch bigger or smaller within a day or two and its a right faff adjusting a lever belt

Ive got three belts;
-a 13mm Inzer lever for OH and most strongman events.
-a 10mm APT 2prong for deadlifts and maybe log as its a bit thinner allowing me ot breathe better
-a valeo velcro and buckle one for if I want something loose on medleys.

As for sleeves, I dont like the APT ones, I find they're too think and possibly add to lifts. I use the old style 7mm neoprene blue rehbands for knees and a piar of vulcan elbows as they're longer than the rehbands and find they arent as tight as the new style rehband elbows.

Youngy asked for some reccomendations and i reccomended an APT single prong 10mm thick belt. I have one and its a beauty. Extremepowerlifting sell them on the net.

Good value and youngy ended up getting the same. (Its the blue one with a black horizontal stripe)

i have one of these, awesome belt, have a rehband one as well to wear under it when dead lifting makes things abit more comfy as the APT belt is rock solid lol

What are the sizings like for the vulcan elbow sleeves - i dont have huge arms and my elbow measurement fits into the xs size but dont want to order them and be too tight.

Any thoughts other than i need to bulk my arms up?

I think the ones I got were XL and in the shop were pretty tight, but they loosen off after a while. If you measure XS then Id probs go with that cause even if they are tight to start with you'll get into them and as I said they'll loosen after a while.

Am i right in thinking that the elboe sleeves give extra support and help you lift more?

Ive not had problems with my elbows yet but prevention is better than cure.

The vulcan sleeves dont add anything, but the APT ones will. The vulcans are more for warmth and injury prevention.
