I've always thought Addlington looked quite nice...I'm from Down South though, and so probably have different standards. Happy

it's ok - just very small and a handful of pubs where you see same people in if you ever go out there...
but i'm a big city person, i think Leeds is too small lol.

there's some nice places if you like pretty countryside living round adlington though.
heath charnock, limbrick, blackrod and as said before, the roads are great round there
if you need somewhere to open up an heavily modded Evo 9 or similar ;-)

I used to work on a farm in limbrick as a kid (opposite the pub at the bottom of the hill leading from cowling brow. It was great driving a tractor on the roads at 14yrs old! Grin

When I had a 1.0l fiesta is was still fun driving round those roads. It would be hair raising in a standard Evo 9, let alone a modded one!

Evo was pretty savage but
my r35 GTR was worst - litchfield stage 5 @ 762bhp/620lbft and truth be told too much power for most roads...
coming out bends round there in 2nd or 3rd gear was absolutely terrifying.

Sadly some old biddy ran into back of it a month or so back and it's been written off (against her insurance)... I'll be getting an even more tuned one of course - one with engine fully forged, gearbox upgrade and some non-stock framed turbos ... something around the 1000bhp mark would
be perfect haha

assume that must've been Slapperjax (applejax) as i can't think of any other clubs in chorley.
only been in once in my entire life but have no recollection of any fish pond. lot of pond life however Grin
remember a cracker of a scrap down Oldham Street in Manchester ages ago. a few of us were stood outside Dry hanging around before heading off to Bugged Out at Sankeys and monstrous scrap kicked off across the road near the 'lazy pig' (a grim dive) involving about 20 girls screaming with the scalliest manc accents ever. ripping hair out of each others heads, scratching, kicking. blood everywhere, vicious as f**k. one girl got knocked out falling over and smacking her head on the floor.

Yes mate it was slapperjax. I swear it had a pond on the way in. Never had a night out in Oldham. Blackpool is a place were you are likely to see enjoyable violence. I've seen some amusing fights in Wigan as well. I do enjoy watching people kick the crap out of each other I just don't like it went innocents (such as me) get attacked for no reason.

I also remember a club in Standish. It was basically a big portacabin. Is it still there?

probably thinking of the nightclub off the Charnley Arms.
It was called Henry Afrika's - load of green portacabins with some crappy bamboo effect roofing added.
long gone now.

Wigan has King Street. every s**tty bar imaginable down there and trouble galore.
